Obituary of Verna Davison
Verna M. Davison, 78, of Boise quietly passed away at a local hospital on April 27, 2018 due to complications of COPD. Verna was born in Boise, ID on December 7, 1939 to Homer L. and Evelyn M. Corn. She was born and raised in Boise and graduated from Boise High School in 1958. She spent her entire career as a loan officer in the banking industry. Her favorite thing to do was golf and she loved visiting her son and his wife in San Diego, so she could golf all winter. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and cousin. Verna was such a giving soul, who always put everyone else before herself. She loved collecting angels, but she was the real angel to everyone she knew or loved. She married Monty L. Davison on June 18, 1961. They were married 57 years at the time of her passing. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Widner; her parents; and her brothers, Bob and Herb Corn. She is survived by her husband, Monty; her son, Randy and his wife Julie; her sister, Phyllis Moreland (R.C.); her grandchildren, James (Jeanette) and Justin (Christina) Widner; her great grandchildren, Azura, Corbin, Aiden, Kellan; her best friend and cousin, Sandra Gannon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at Dry Creek Cemetery on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 1:30 P.M. Reception following at The Plantation Country Club at 3:00 P.M.
