I met Don at our fireworks stand in Meridian. He used to tell us he needed the biggest so the kids would have fun. He always loved kids and was here on Veteran's Day at Eagle Middle School. Students and teachers were blessed by his humor, patriotism, and love for country. Thanks Don. We will miss you.

I knew (and by extension my entire family)Don while on safari in Kenya. My work experience as a safari guide involves meeting people of different backgrounds and character, but Don left an indelible mark in my heart and have told all and sundry about this man with a big heart and a big smile. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
About Lee, she is a strong personality however we pray that she gets strength to get through this.

I am truly sorry at the loss of Don. He and I were friends and comrades for a number of years working on issues affecting our Service Members, Veterans, and Families. Don was a true gentleman who never failed to answer the call. All of us are better today because we had the fortunate opportunity to know such a wonderful man.

My dearest Lee, It's been around 24 years since the four of us met and we certainly had some good times together, many nice Thanksgivings together and one thing in particular that will always standout for me is a golf game!. Don, Bruce and I at Welk's. Never been in such a rainstorm but the 3 of us stuck it out and were soaked through and through.
Don had the biggest heart and he always had a place in it for people, not sure how because 99% of the heart belonged to you. We were both very fortunate to have found our soul mates and now they are together again.
May God continue to bless you.
Love you, Naomi

I only met Don a few years ago, but in that time I developed a great affection for him. His is a very likeable soul and it was always my pleasure to see him at VFW meetings. His good nature and generosity touched many people and I have been blessed to have known him.
