Obituary of Laura Lindsay

Laura was born to James and Marilyn Lindsay,  in Hope, British Columbia on August 21, 1957, the third part of the “traveling trio”, as Marilyn would say.

Laura was a first responder nurse drove an ambulance who served as a Hospice nurse and Helicopter nurse. During her lifetime she shared a special relationship with Dr. Sam Summers and his wife, Leora. Spending 20 years of service with them and a lifetime of friendship.

Following a three-year battle with pancreatic cancer, Laura passed away on Jun 28th of this year. She had a very interesting life. Her father, James Lindsay, worked for a company that took him all over the world. He took his wife and his daughter with him.

Laura lived in Chile, the Philippines, Canada, and several American states. Laura also visited Africa. She loved dogs, fishing, and catching Dungeness crabs.

Laura is preceded in death by her parents and several cocker spaniels. She is survived by her husband, Kelly Robison.

During the past few years, Laura received unwavering support from her special friends, Norma, Penny, and the Wallace family. Laura would also like to thank Hazel at Summers Funeral Home and the staff at St. Al’s Cancer Center.
