Obituary of Olive Kipp
Olive was born September 28, 1938. The youngest of twins by one hour in Felixstowe, England. One year later, World War II broke out. She could tell many stories of those war years and how frightening it was to hear the enemy planes and bombs hitting their targets.
Olive met Bob in 1960 and married him in 1961. He was the love of her life, and she had no doubts that God put them together. They had their first son, Robert in 1962- the same year they came to the United States. Their youngest son, Steve was born in 1965 in Arizona. Olive was so proud of them both and their many, many accomplishments. There were many for sure.
Bob was 20 years in the military and gone a lot. Olive and the boys put their roots down in Mountain Home, Idaho. Olive got her American Citizenship in 1972. She was proud to be a nationalized American and proud to be a military wife. She loved this country from day one and especially loved Idaho. She felt so privileged to live here and bring family and friends to visit.
She leaves the love of her life, children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She came to Christ as a young child, loved the lord and loved the “Word”. She was always watching for an opportunity to share the goodness of God. 12 years of bible study and services at Ada County jail brought her much joy always realizing if not for love and the grace of God we could also be there too.
