Ed Walton, Jr. was born June 30, 1966, in Holmes County, Lexington Mississippi to Ed Walton, Sr, and Eula B. Cooper. He graduated in 1984 from J. J. McClain High School in Lexington MS and was gainfully employed with Fleetwood Mobile Homes Manufacturing Company during his early years. He later joined the workforce with Micron Technology Manufacturing Company, Boise ID in 1986.

His migration to Boise in 1986 was connected with his brother’s military assignment as Commander of the Boise Military Entrance Processing Station. This was a “lifting as you climb” move for Ed by his oldest Brother, then, U. S. Air Force Major John D. Cooper.

Ed was preceded in death by his father, Ed Walton, Sr. and mother, Eula B. Cooper. Those who will forever cherish his memory are John Douglas Cooper, Major, U. S. Air Force (Retired) and wife Marie T. Cooper, San Antonio Texas; Deacon Robert Earl Cooper, Lexington Mississippi; extended family ~ “Team Boise” lead by his other Brother from another mother, Jewel Fowler and wife Ellise Fowler; Willie and Jacqueline “Jackie” Walls; Les Browning, Aaron Crawford, Ryan Crawford; Dale Nelson; Marcus Hardy; and Charles Jones, plus other friends who helped him enjoy a full and complete life.
