Clyde E. Summers founded our company in 1911 when he partnered with P.L. Fry. The business passed through several partnerships and purchases over the years, but kept the continuity of a trusted business with a commitment to service.
When our team of professionals isn't working hard caring for the families we serve, they enjoy time with their families, community groups, and hobbies in and around Boise and Meridian. Whether camping, whitewater rafting, or fly-fishing, many of the staff take advantage of our area's natural wonders and are proud to call Idaho home.

- Cremation process and return of ashes in a temporary urn.
- Consultation with responsible party for final arrangements.

- Price is for burial with no visitation or formal services and ceremonies. Does not include casket, outer burial container, or cemetery costs.

Summers had been recommended to my parents and they told me that was where they wanted to go when they died. I am so thankful that they gave me those instructions. Our family's experience working with Summers was more than I could have hoped for. They are so professional, kind, helpful, and understanding. All the things you need when you lose someone you love. They guided us tenderly through our decision making process. All options were presented to us. They kept in contact with us and were so dependable. Summers is so professional and caring.
They helped with my mother in 2023 and were amazing.
There was no pressure just kind words.
They know people and how to help in the during the final touches of saying goodbye.
Summers then again assisted with my husband in 2024.
They eased my decisions with gentle guidance and compassionate perception.
They ask caring questions to better understand just what a family needs and wants.
