Welcome to Summers Funeral Homes
It’s never easy to lose a loved one – particularly during this time of uncertainty – and we remain committed to caring for our families compassionately and safely. In light of the recent Coronavirus outbreak, we have taken many measures to help the families we serve. While keeping our funeral homes safe and clean is important, it is equally important to find creative solutions for families who cannot meet with us in person.
If you have experienced the unfortunate loss of a loved one and are not comfortable meeting in person, we offer a variety of options for completing all the necessary arrangements “virtually” from online planning and purchasing tools, to video conferences and screen sharing, to simple phone calls. We can even complete the necessary paperwork using electronic signatures. To learn more about how we’re adapting our services for everyone’s safety and convenience, Click Here.
Throughout these times, we will continue to be available to you and our community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you have any questions, please call us today at (208) 917-2525. We are here for you.

News: Summers Funeral Home adapting to State and CDC guidelines
By: Frankie Katafias
BOISE, Idaho — Funeral homes are one of many essential businesses having to tailor services to comply with the State and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines.
Summers Funeral Home in Boise and Meridian is harnessing the power of innovation and technology, giving families options for what they can do when they’ve lost a loved one.
Facebook live and web conferencing are some of the newer methods offered; this service allows family and friends near and far to live stream the ceremony. According to Summers Vice President Justin Baxley, other options include giving the families the option to reserve a time at a later date.
