Morgan Morgan
Morgan Clayton Moore, 82, was born April 26, 1934 and passed away April 7, 2017 in Boise from complications of Parkinson's disease. Morgan was born in Boise, Idaho to Newell Clarion Moore and Mary Clarabell (Jones). He had two sisters, Ellie Rees (Jim) and Mary Lou Peterson (Steve). Morgan graduated from Boise High School. He went to the University of Idaho and was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. Morgan dated his future bride, JoAnn, a Tri Delt from New Plymouth, ID while at The University of Idaho. After college, Morgan and JoAnn married and Morgan entered the Air Force. He retired as a Major after 20 years of service. Morgan loved to fly; he was a navigator and defense systems officer on board B-52's, KC-135's and his favorite, B-58's. After his military career he returned to Boise and began a business involving his passion for photography and cars. He had a successful photography studio and operated a limousine service. Morgan and JoAnn were long time members of the Eagle United Methodist church. Morgan loved his grandchildren more than anything. He spent much time searching the internet for the perfect and most unique items to spoil each of them with. Grandpa's gifts to the grandchildren were always the most interestingly wrapped boxes under the tree and always an item only he would think of. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Ellie and one grandchild Nora Johansson. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, JoAnn (Ray), 2 daughters Elaine Hill (Mike) of Eagle, ID and Sheila Johansson (Karl) of Battleground, WA. Morgan had 11 grandchildren. Of the Johansson family; Emily, Anna, Rachael, Paul, Ross, Leo, Joel, Aaron, and Sonja. Of the Hill family; Grant and Maddie. Morgan also had 3 great grandchildren. He was a loving man who will be greatly missed. Morgan requested a graveside service that will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 2:00pm at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.
